De La Hulpe à Wavre (stage 3)

From La Hulpe to Wavre

Length (in km)
18.5 km

You leave Brussels to the south towards Wallonia and the Ardennes. Here you can experience the Brabant atmosphere, with its typical villas. The urban setting soon makes way for a more peaceful environment, such as the Sonian Forest, the Solvay regional estate and the Château de La Hulpe park.

Your journey then takes you to the edge of Genval lake. In peace and quiet, you can cross the market town of Rixensart towards Bierges and then Wavre, the capital of Walloon Brabant and the end of this first stage, where the narrow streets tempt you to daydream or do a little shopping.
